Cancellation & Payment Policies

This section outlines the terms that apply when booking a tour with Tapir Lodge. By confirming your reservation, you accept the following conditions.

Cancellation Fees

If you need to cancel your tour, the following charges will apply based on how many days in advance the cancellation is made:

• 40 to 31 days before the tour: 25% of the total amount

• 30 to 19 days: 30%

• 18 to 9 days: 50%

• 8 to 3 days: 100% (no refund)

Changes to Dates

If you need to reschedule your confirmed tour, a 30% change fee will be applied based on the total tour cost.

Use of Electrical Devices

Please note that hair dryers, electric razors, or any high-voltage appliances are not permitted at the lodge. Damage to the electrical system due to misuse may result in a charge to the guest.

Refunds Due to Cancellations by Tapir Lodge

In the rare case that Tapir Lodge must cancel a tour due to unforeseen events such as severe weather, natural disasters, strikes, government restrictions, or other legal circumstances, guests will receive a full refund. However, a 10% administrative fee may be retained.

No-Shows

Unfortunately, no refund will be given if a guest does not show up on the scheduled dates.

Responsibilities & Liability

• Tapir Lodge is responsible for transportation and tour operation as described in the confirmed itinerary.

• We are not responsible for issues related to flights, hotels, or third-party services.

• We are not liable for medical expenses, accidents, delays, or unexpected events caused by negligence of the passenger or third parties.

• Tapir Lodge is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal belongings or valuables.

• We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, accommodations, or transportation if necessary to ensure safety and service quality.

By accepting these terms, you acknowledge and voluntarily accept all risks related to your travel experience.

We highly recommend that all guests purchase appropriate travel insurance.
